Communiqué Conquers Nashville!

Earlier this month, our entire team set out on a trip to Nashville. It’s been a hot spot for our clients this year and we quickly learned why. From classic honky tonks with live music, the smell of barbecue in the air, and that southern hospitality, the city lived up to its reputation. Beyond the Nashvegas strip that is Broadway Avenue, we toured classic country-music sites (like the Ryman Auditorium where we are in the photo), explored new neighbourhoods by bus and pedal tavern, and drank sweet tea all along the way. Nashville, you were a blast. And we couldn’t have asked for better travel companions.

  Citizenship Celebration at Communiqué!

September 19, 2016

Earlier this week, our team gathered in Mississauga to celebrate the official Canadian citizenship ceremony for Claudia Cariceo, our Spanish-speaking Accounting Coordinator. Claudia has been part of the Communiqué family since 2010 and travelled here from her native Mexico over 25 years ago.

We were certainly the largest group of spectators in the room and made sure Claudia heard our cheers when the Citizen Judge called her name.

¡Felicitaciones Claudia!

Christmas (giving) came early at Communique

Rather than adopting a couple of families for Christmas gifts this year we decided to keep with what we love; – shopping, but give back in a different way! As the cold weather descends upon us we are reminded of the need to bundle up in the morning.

So, … we bought 13 children’s snowsuits – complete with matching hat & mitts, 4 pairs of boots and 1 random pair of mittens. The worthy recipient for our goods is the Simcoe Children’s Aid Foundation. What a great reminder for us that Christmas is truly about the giving. And, we enjoyed every shopping moment of it.

Lessons in leadership with Ardith Freethy,
  President at Communiqué

Ardith Freethy in an interview with Mark Latimer, Meeting Pro Podcast

It's no accident when things go well. It is only in an environment of careful planning, prudent decision making, constant communication, and diligent attention that great ideas come to life. At Communiqué nothing is left to chance.

Creating inspirational events for our clients is an inspiring process for us as well. Our objective is to be thoroughly consistent – and consistently thorough..

To the Staff of Communiqué:

On behalf of the children, youth and Foster families in our organization I wanted to sincerely thank you for your generous gift which provided a lovely Santa gift for each child (88) at our annual Christmas party! A great time was had by all, despite poor weather on the day and the gifts were very well received!

Thanks for making a difference this Christmas for our kids!

Subject: Youth Without Shelter – On the Right Track Invite

Hello Ardith,

The “On The Move” Packages your team crafted have been invaluable – and about half of them have now found their way into youth homes. Your packages have become the standard by which we encourage groups to take on the challenge of an “On the Move” project.

Your team looked like they have so much fun together!

All the best

 Before & After

February | March 2013

Kool Haus, a 27,000 sq.ft. multi-functional space in downtown Toronto, was transformed last October—gangnam style—into a hip and happening launch party with a featured performance by the wildly popular South Korean singing sensation, Psy. The launch party’s 2139 revelers celebrated the Samsung Galaxy Note II entry into the Canadian mobile phone marketplace in a nightclub-styled space, courtesy of the talented team at Communiqué, a special events and incentive travel company in the host city.
